Chipjack — Privacy Policy Effective 20 September 2026

Chipjack does not ask for your name, your email, or any account. It cannot identify you.

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE Your game progress never leaves your phone. That includes best distance, coins, unlocked skins and trails, mission progress, daily streak, and sound settings. It is stored in the app's local storage, is not uploaded anywhere, and does not sync between devices. Deleting the app deletes all of it permanently.

WHAT IS COLLECTED The game uses two Google Firebase services to understand how it is played and to find crashes.

Firebase Analytics Anonymous gameplay events such as a run starting and ending, distance reached, which obstacle ended a run, and which menus are opened. Also standard technical information including device model, operating system version, country, and a random app instance identifier. This is usage data and is not linked to your identity.

Firebase Crashlytics If the game crashes, a technical crash report is sent so the bug can be fixed. It contains the error, device model, and OS version. It contains no personal information.

This data is used only to improve the game. It is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers.

WHAT IS NOT COLLECTED

ADVERTISING AND PURCHASES This version contains no advertising and no in-app purchases. If either is added in a future version, this policy will be updated before that version is released.

CHILDREN Chipjack is suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no personal information is collected, there is nothing to request deletion of.

YOUR CHOICES You can stop all analytics and crash reporting by deleting the app. On iOS you can also limit app tracking under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, under Settings > Google > Ads.

DATA RETENTION Analytics data is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months, then deleted automatically. Crash reports are retained for up to 90 days.

THIRD PARTY SERVICES Firebase is operated by Google. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy and policies.google.com/privacy

CHANGES If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it.
